A AUDIODESCRIÇÃO APLICADA AOS QUADRINHOS: EM BUSCA DA EDUCAÇÃO INCLUSIVA
Abstract
An accessible environment should enable bothdeaf and non-deaf people to learn equally. Even if Braziluses bilingual education, the ideal for learning of thatindividual is to emphasize visual aspects of learningenvironments. Considering the use of narratives as a tool forgenerating knowledge in hypermedia environments, itappears that non-linearity allows the student to define andcontrol the process of browsing and reading data. Thecomics present these characteristics as they are formed byimages of sequential frames which are interconnected, enabling greater integration of content with the imaginationof the reader, allowing them to impose their own rhythm ofreading and therefore learning. The aim of this paper is topresent the preliminary results of a systematic search on aninterdisciplinary basis, about the use of comics as a tool forinclusive education, with emphasis on learning for deafpeople.Index Terms ⎯ Comics, audio description, accessibility.
