Abstract


Imitation is not intended to repeat the realityand the viewer is not a mistaken illusion because it is notconcerned a statement of identity, but similarity or analogy.To say that art imitates nature will be an uncertainproposition, if we consider that imitation is to reproducewhat we imitate. In fact imitate is just to reproduce theappearances and the spectator only perceive theseappearances that the analogy of the work and neverrepresent their reality.
