Abstract

The Visual Arts Faculty of FederalUniversity of Goiás offers two on-line degrees to prepareteachers to this field. The first course began in 2007 and haddeveloped a lot of actions it still invisible inside the Facultyand University eyes. Questions remains such as: how thevisual arts can be touch trough distance education? Howwould be possible teach subject studio on this modality?Who are and how much students the on-line degrees theVisual Faculty has? Do they do exams to get in university?What shall we assess this education? How shall we teach it?Presenting some aspects of our experience this paper try toclarify some of these questions and highlight how distanceeducation impacts our academic conceptions of learn andteach visual arts.Index Terms ⎯ distance-education, new technologies,teachers-education,visual arts.
