RTE REVERSA - APLICANDO A ENGENHARIA REVERSA NA ARTE.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the reverseengineering and respond to a concern about the possibleapplication of this concept in art, breaking down barriersand breaking paradigms. Using 3D scanning, the art ofcomputer aided design and manufacturing – CAD/CAM,machining by computer numerical control - CNC,engineering, and applying this methodology in the artsespecially in sculpture, it is possible to dematerialize aartwork, virtualizes it in 3D programs, make speeches, andprocess a new work, a new art elsewhere. By the example ofsurgeries at a distance, the artist, or technical author couldproduce their works, and materialize them anywhere. Inother words, do the reverse gear. It discusses therelationship between art and technology, the role of theauthor, the viewer, which can interfere with the interactivitythat case by stating that art, exists only in the look and feelof the viewer.Key Words ⎯ CAD,CAM, CNC, sculpture, reverse art.
