Abstract

Much has been said about the engineer of the21st Century, a new professional that, besides unquestionedexpertise, would have skills such as teamwork, knowledge offoreign languages and cultures, creative thinking, effectiveoral and written communication and an adequate profile forthe needs the global market. Moreover, there is the need todevelop habits of lifelong learning, awareness of their socialrole and be able to take on tasks within their community. Aprofessional able to adapt to quickly changes in productsand in economy. That keeps up to date and qualified. How isthe current engineering student reacting/adapting to this?There are cases of depression and anxiety.
