Abstract


The Information Society, with its consequentreality models, demands a distinguished education atsuperior degree that serves the current cultural, scientific,technological and professional production demands. TheGraduation in Technology, still consolidating in Brazil, is achallenge as it brings as principle a new configurationacademic education, not delaying its social functionresponsibility, looking after a balance between thetechnical/professional and the humanist/cultural educationand not avoiding the complex relations with theentrepreneurial world. In this context, this paper presents,supported by bibliographic and outer researches,quantitative and qualitative data that show theaccomplishments and capabilities by TechnologicalEducation State Center Paula Souza, at São Paulo, Brazil,as an essential public institution to minimize the distortionsresulting from the social inequalities, considering theemployability index, of remuneration revenue and of socialinsertion of its egressed ones.Index Terms - Centro Paula Soiuza, Professional andTechnological Education, Social
