Abstract


It is hereby intended to generate a reflection onthe role of Art, Science and Technology as mechanisms tocontribute towards an improvement in quality of life of thesociety, acknowledging that such improvement be directlyrelated with the educational process. In the seventies, theBrazilian actress Leila Diniz, who died while performing asoap opera on TV named “And where are we going to?†–where she played the main role – considered to berevolutionary, changed customs, values, modifying the wayof life of many women. Inciting and challenging, she wouldbe considered an “innovator†today. Same as herself,writers, painters, among others, were innovators, modifiedand influenced the way of making art. Part of these changeswere based on Knowledge, on Science and on Technology,incorporated into the daily life of social groups, througheducational processes, be they formal or not.Index Terms - Art, Science, Education, Technology
