A EDUCAÇÃO MUSICAL NA FORMAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL DE UNIDOCENTES: O CONTEXTO DA PEDAGOGIA/UFSM

Abstract

This paper presents a dissertation developed withsupport from PPGE of the Federal University of SantaMaria (UFSM), connected to the group - FAPEM/CNPq andfinanced by CAPES. The central objective was to investigateabout the “LEM Program: Play and Singâ€, by means ofmusic workshops, certifying the contributions made in theconstitution and musical and pedagogical-musical formationof students and alumni of the Pedagogy course/UFSM.Qualitative research was chosen having as main instrumentof collection of data the semi-structured, individual andgroup interview. In closing, this Program is presented as arelevant musical-formative factor in the professionalformation of teachers who are not specialists in music. Thiscontributed in giving them more work alternatives andconfidence in the practical application of music in theschool. Besides this, there are indications that initiative suchas this should be encouraged in the formation of unidocents.Index Terms – Art, Musical Education, ProfessionalFormation, Pedagogy.
