O USO DE PORTFÓLIOS COMO MEDIADORES DE APRENDIZAGEM EM EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA

Abstract

This paper presents results of an investigationmade during the course of Psychological Foundations ofEducation in the Licensing Program in Mathematics atFederal University of Pelotas - Virtual Education Mode. Theresearch aimed at analyzing memorials, portfolios andnarrations describing the educational experiences of thosestudents, whose personal stories, added to some informationtechnologies, mediated their learning. Chats and advisingvia msn, Skype, e-mails and questions posted at Moodlewere some technologies applied, helping researchers todescribe the learning strategies developed by these studentsduring their life as learners. The investigation took coursethrough the study of their portfolios, so one could learnabout their psychological aspects (cognitive, affective andsocial), making it possible to understand and intervene inthe future process of their professional praxis. This way, itwas possible to teach these teachers-to-be to operate withthe Psychology Foundations knowledge in their futureprofessional praxis.Index Terms ⎯ Instruction of Teachers, InformationTechnology, Learning, Virtual Education.
