COMPUTER AIDED TECHNIQUES FOR FITTING EQUATIONS INTO DESIGN DATA (POINTS)
Abstract
Methods and processes for fitting equationsrepresenting design data employed in routing designs ofelectrical machines are presented in this write up.Computations are made from Equations with theappropriate constants and, are computed using thenumerical data which are precisely taken from variousdesign data curves. It was discovered that the ampereconductorratings, the B-H curves, and the core pathshortening factors can conveniently be fitted employing theleast square method including using the computer forcarrying out the routine computations. The equationsobtained from experiment satisfactorily represent thedesign data origin; and adopting this method, considerable computer time and storage space were savedin subsequent design computations when a new designrequiring the data is used.
