Abstract


This article aims to analyze the integration ofthe actors involved in the organization of the sambaschools junior carioca, by examining the discoursespracticed by everyone. To that end, face to facecommunication that occurs in interactions between thedifferent actors will be analyzed. The junior carnivalgroups aim to rescue the self-esteem of children andadolescents from deprived areas through a cultural event -the carnival. The parade is the culmination of a dedicationwhich includes discipline, guidance and educationbackground, besides the enhancement of individual andcollective attributes such as suitability for the arts and thepride of their origins. Aiming at the goal of the research,theoretical and methodological framework seeks toexpand the scope of the observations through areconceptualization of the term performance, beyond themodel of technical rationality reflexivity interact with theaesthetic and emotional insights that comprise theorganization.Key words ⎯ Carnival, citizenship, communication,performance
