Abstract


Music and art change all the time, neverremaining static. The search for new possibilities, conceptsand utopias, can result in new forms of interaction. Virtuallaboratories, where cultural, philosophical and socialquestions related to the edge of the scientific andtechnological research, are substituting the studios. Newquestions arise: what will be the effect of the InformationSociety in our creativity, in Music and Visual Arts? This kindof society has advantages, but both include information andmisinformation. How then to differentiate between them?How, in the 21st Century, we modify art and music, and howare we modified by them? This paper aims to bring someanswers to such questions. Aspects concerningcomputational creativity are discussed. Art systems andquestions concerning computational creativity areapproached.
