Abstract

The article deals with the design and applicationof a Methodology for Building a Database migrator, which isintended as a useful tool for those evaluating the effectivenessof data migration processes across multiple platforms, aprocess that comes becoming a pillar of modernorganizations. The purpose is to show the process of buildinga system of migration of enterprise databases in goods andservices are developed in the conceptual background andinvestigative inherent in migration systems, the proposedmethodology for prototype construction raised, diagrams anduse cases and objects that realize the analysis and design thatsupports the application, also shows the graphical interfacebuilt to handle the data migration process.Index Terms ⎯ Bases de Datos, Metodología, Migrador,Migración
