EDUCAÇÃO INTERSEMIÓTICA
Abstract
This paper’s central thesis claims anintersemiotic education for the “digital natives”, a termused by Prensky to refer to the public that goes to schoolnowadays. Born in a cultural context of intense changes inthe way of producing, distributing and communicatingmediated by the computer and other mobile media, thesechildren and youngsters grew up in the culture of theremix, the interactivity and the possibility of producingand mixing languages, making use of processes ofintersemiotic translation. In this sense, it is necessary aneducation that takes into account new discourse forms aspossibilities of making up people capable of beinginterlocutors in an environment of information in whicheverything is merged in a prodigality of signs.
