A BUSCA DE LINGUAGENS CONTEMPORÂNEAS EM ARTES: REFLEXÕES NA UNIVERSIDADE A PARTIR DE CENTRO DE PESQUISA PLÃSTICA

Abstract

This work is about the extension project “PlasticResearch Centreâ€, developed at Unesp (Bauru/SãoPaulo/Brasil) by the author along with the students ofArtistic Education (Plastic Arts). Aiming to encourage thestudents on supports and alternative techniques, theAudiovisual and Visual Arts Study Group - GRAVA wascreated as a place for reflexion and creation. The group hasbeen seeking a personal language, improving it as the meansto communicate its interpretation of the world areinvestigated, being it in the urban space or in cultural andvirtual centres. By extending the university knowledge to thelocal community, it is intended to motivate the student’sresearch along with the professoriate and promote thecreation process and artistic works focusing the group’sview on the context it is inserted.Index Terms - Visual Arts – Audiovisual arts – CreationProcess – GRAVA – UNESP
