O BARRO COMO PROPOSTA DE MATERIAL PARA A CONSTRUÇÃO SUSTENTÃVEL

Abstract


The present work studies the use of raw clay as proposal of material for the sustainable construction. The construction industry is the activity that occupies one of the first places in ranking of more polluting, with the participation of approximately 40% of greenhouse emissions in the world. In order to mitigate this impact the professionals have been discussed the productive processes, having as goal the analysis of edifications life cycle. As a result it has been noted that the industrialized materials are the greater responsible for the environmental impacts. In the history of Construction it can note that about 40% of the buildings worldwide are constructed with raw clay. With these considerations, analyses and diagnostic on the techniques and methodologies applied to the raw land use are presented in constructions. In the conclusion justifications are presented which confirm the use of raw clay as proposal of material for sustainable construction.
