Abstract


The super ship could only have access to someBrazilian ports if not to use their full capacity. The need toadapt the Brazilian ports to receive the new ships, with sizeand net size larger than the present, makes it necessary todevelop new studies. This work aims to develop apreliminary study based on the unitization of methods andtechniques, identifying the actual conditions of the mainnational ports, within the dimensions: social, environmentaland economic, enabling them to adapt to the condition ofport concentrators. The methodology for the development ofthe research is based on descriptive and correlational study,it notes, records and establishing a functional relationshipbetween the events that occur. It is presented as a likelyresult value for an unknown, what is the definition of theBrazilian ports characteristics in order to classify them ashubs or Port, then as a Port Power.Index Terms - Super Ships, Ports Hubs, Unitization, PortWorks.
