Abstract


The study of the population of funguses present inthe air must be better understood to inquiry of the quality ofair in building. Probably, buildings with little openings forexchange of air with the external way, has been responsiblefor the increase of the concentration of pollutants offunguses in internal air. This was called of Syndrome of theSick Building (SED) by the World-Health Organization(WHO). Biological pollutants can be fungous, protozoarius,bacteria and mites. In this work, 16 samples had beencollected in rooms of the surgical center of the RegionalHospital of Brazlândia - Federal District. Of the 16collected samples, 25 colonies had been identified, verifyingthemselves that the fungus most frequent in air belonged tothe sorts Cladosporium sp., Candida sp., Sterilia Mycelia,Scedosporium sp., Rhodotorula sp. e Penicillium sp.Index Terms - Anemophylous; Quality; Air; Fungus;Building.
