CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT AND THE CHALLENGES OF THE 21ST CENTURY
Abstract
Examples are presented here on how severalschools are meeting the challenges of curriculumdevelopment in the 21 st century. At QueensboroughCommunity College a Technology Learning Academyprogram is being developed aimed at providing a specialidentity for students, grouped by academic program. AtNova Scotia Community College inductive teaching andlearning have been woven into the school plan to supportNSCC’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
