CLASS-SITE: A DIFFERENTIATED PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

Abstract


This study aims at socializing the results of thedata analysis collected during a research about apedagogical practice called Class-Site. The results will bepresented here through interview fragments carried out withthe subjects of the research, that showed that this is adifferent and differentiated pedagogical practice, thatcreates opportunities where the students can be the authorsand actors in the building of their knowledge, developingskills that can prepare them, as a whole, to face the dailychallenges, acting and transforming the environment wherethey live, as citizens and competent professionals. Thispractice was called Class-Site because it is a classical Classthat aims at running electrical connection systems,developed in a real work locus, which is the Site (buildingsand houses). It was developed and experienced with theElectrotechnique students of the Federal Institute ofEducation, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso.Index Terms ⎯  Class-Site, Competence, PedagogicalPractice, Professional Education.
