Abstract

At university level the impact of present worldscenario is pushing to the necessity of a differentprofessional. In engineering and computing fields, thanks tothe several researches carried out by scientists many actionshave been applied successfully. Communication technologyhelps the acquisition of knowledge for a large number ofpeople, which is very positive because it opens opportunitiesfor those who are interested in get pace with the challengingmutant world of global economy. The discussions anddevelopment of projects and conferences are the best placesnot only for idea exchange but also the opportunity to makecontacts for future work. ICECE - International Conferenceon Engineering and Computer Education is a conferencethat for almost 15 years has been providing a breeding soilfor discussions and solutions for engineering and computereducation worldwide. This paper aims to describe theevolution of ICECE.
