Abstract


Present world scenario certainly shows to be achanging time for economies and countries. It is the time foradjustments to 21st Century demands for people, enterprisesand governments. In terms of high education there are newnecessities and trends. Speaking about engineering andcomputing fields, thanks to the several researchers in thesefields many actions have been applied successfully. No doubtthat idea exchanging helps the discussions and developmentof projects and conferences are the best places not only foridea exchange but also the opportunity to make contacts forfuture work. ICECE - International Conference onEngineering and Computer Education is a conference thatfor more than 10 years has been providing a breeding soilfor discussions and solutions for engineering and computereducation worldwide. This paper aims to describe theevolution of ICECE since its first edition in 1999 until its VIIedition, ICECE’2011 back to Europe.
