UNA HERRAMIENTA PARA ENSEÑANZA DE SQL
Abstract
Data bases are more and more present amongcomputers´ users. It entails the knowledge of the tools thatallow their use, among which the SQL occupies a centralplace. Those who must learn this language, frequently havehad an imperative and sequential programming course,being conditioned on thinking with this paradigm, oppositeto the parallel and functional nature of the SQL. Theeducational experience indicates that the students havedifficulty in creating complex queries. Bearing this in mind,an imperative language has been designed which allows toexpress queries to tables with an imperative approach and atool which translate programs to SQL92 has been built.
