FUNDAMENTOS PARA LA CREACIÓN DE UNA CARRERA DE GRADO EN BIOINFORMÁTICA

Abstract

The Engineering School of the UNER (FIUNER)is the pioneer institution to give a degree formation inBioengineering. The fact that in our school coexists sincetheir origin, natural and exacts sciences, make of our housea excellent place to gestate a project of big importance forone of the new disciplines of this new century. For thatreason, it is a huge challenge, for a young institution as ouris, to propose in Argentina a career to provide the formationof professionals in one of the main emerging scientific andtechnological lines of the knowledge of the beginning of thetwenty first century; in one of the strategic developmentalareas both al regional and national level. In this work wewill expose the fundaments that give origin to the creation ofthe Bioinformatics’ degree as well as their curricularstructure.
