PROPUESTA PARA LA INCLUSIÓN DE CONTENIDOS DE INFORMÃTICA INDUSTRIAL EN EL PLAN DE ESTUDIOS DE CARRERAS DE INGENIERÃA ORIENTADAS A LA AUTOMATIZACIÓN INDUSTRIAL

Abstract

In this paper we propose to include industrialinformatics contents in the curricula of industrialautomations-oriented engineering careers. As a first step, wehave to define the extents and limits of this discipline forthen, to include some material what can be done in twoways. On the one hand, this thematic can be included as aseparated subject. On the other hand, it can be incorporatedwithin a unit spread among several subjects. In this sense,criteria are presented to define the minimum contents ofInformatics that are essential to the professionalformation. As an application of this proposal, wepresent the curricula of two industrial automationengineering careers at different universities. We concludeby analyzing and describing the performed experiences ineach career and their future perspectives and giving tipsregarding the teaching of industrial informatics in similarcareers.
