Abstract

This paper proposes measurement indicators forformalizing the evaluation process of systems designs, basedon the Use Case Model considered as an axis of the softwaredevelopment process. The above mentioned indicators were obtained as a result ofthe analysis of the work produced by senior students, whenthey were attending the course ‘Software Design’, in which,OO methodology and UML modelling language are applied. This course is part of the curricula of â€Licenciatura enSistemas†and â€Licenciatura en Ciencias de laInformación“‘ careers, offered at the â€Facultad de CienciasExactas, Físicas, y Naturales†of the â€National Universityof San Juanâ€.These indicators have been generated from the perspectiveof tested solutions given by students. Our working hypothesis is that the design of a system can beright if it has evolved from an adequate Use Case Model.
