RETIFICADOR MULTIPULSOS ALIMENTADO POR GERADOR DE ÍMÃ PERMANENTE – ANÁLISE DO CONTEÚDO HARMÔNICO PRÉ-EXISTENTE

Abstract

The present paper proposes the analysis of apermanent magnet generator (PMG) considering theinfluence of its harmonic levels in multipulse rectifiers. Noloadand full-load experiments were carried out in order tocreate a PMG model, which includes its leakage reactanceand total harmonic distortion (THD). Four different 12-pulse structures are designed, simulated and comparedregarding weight, volume and need of interphasetransformers. A 12-pulse rectifier, comprising a 4.2kWisolated Y/Δ-Y transformer with series connected outputs,was built and tested together with the PMG, showing 11.5%THD, for both voltage and current in the primary of thetransformer.
