O USO DAS NOVAS TECNOLOGIAS NO ENSINO DE ENGENHARIA

Abstract

The text discusses aspects of the changeshappened again in the society as a consequence of theinfluence of the new technologies, such as the Internet, in thetransformation of the society for the one that sometheoretical ones call "society of the information" or "societyof the knowledge.". We discuss, the implications involve inthe making of these processes, that are not restricted to thetechnological subjects, but also affect social, economic,cultural and educational areas, through the aproaches of theutilization of knowledge, the role of the educators and thechallenges of the superior education in relation to this newsociety. The paper stresses the reflection of some projectsthat are being installed in Brazil, in which the utilization ofresources multimedia as support for the higher education,become the new trend in the educational processes.
