OTIMIZAÇÃO DOS RETIFICADORES MULTIPULSOS COM CONEXÃO Y-DIFERENCIAL
Abstract
This work presents the generalization of the YDifferentialconnections for 12 and 18-pulseautotransformers. A single mathematical expression,obtained through simple trigonometric operations,represents all the connections. The generalization allowschoosing any ratio between the input and the outputvoltages. These converters, although they are not isolateddue to the presence of autotransformer, reduce weight,volume, cost and loss. Multipulse converters are a passivesolution to reduce the harmonic current injected in themains. The line currents are formed by the fundamental andthe harmonic component orders k·P±1 (k=1,2,3..., P =pulses). This work shows a detailed study of the connectionthrough mathematical analysis, diagrams and simulations.Results are presented through graphics seeking anoptimization for the employed topology to find a bettermethodology for choosing the multipulse converter. Finallyan analysis is made to improve the kVA rating of thetransformers for 12 and 18 pulses converters.
