Abstract


Currently some experiments are carried out onPantanal of Nhecolândia to understand water flows betweenadjacent lakes. The salines represent the greatest wealth inthe region. Thus, it is done the monitoring of water levelvariation through radial sequences to the center of lakes aswell as through a connection between two adjacent lakes.The piezometers are constructed of PVC pipe with 1 inch ofdiameter and length varying around three meters in depth,in accordance with the topology sequential profile. Thewater level recorded on table is performmed manually usinga small metallic hooter, which reduces measurementaccuracy and analysis quality. This paper presents amethodology for water level measurement under ground andmakes use of embedded technology. This is universityextension project with fomentation from Banco ABN -AMRO Real.
