PROJETO DE CONTROLADORES DE PROCESSOS INDUSTRIAIS UTILIZANDO O STATEFLOW

Abstract


This paper presents a study about modeling toolemployment named Stateflow from Matlab/Simulink inspecification of control systems used in plant automationprocess of alcohol manufacture sector. The concepts usedwere based Digital Circuit programmatic content ofElectrical Engineering Department at the Ilha SolteiraEngineering College. Using the developed methodology theindustrial processes can be described and evaluated usingthe Stateflow as modeling tool. This way, Finite StateMachine described by Mealy model or Moore model can bevalidated and converted into corresponding hardwarethrough translation tools that are being developed in theLPSSD-DEE-FEIS-UNESP. The procedures for temperatureand pH control after sulphur injection process in the soupare presented like cases. The aim main of this work ismotivate students showing them various practical examplesof concepts studied in class room.
