ANÃLISE DOS PROBLEMAS APLICADOS A UM ESTUDO INTEGRADO DE CONCORRÊNCIA E CONECTIVIDADE UTILIZANDO PBL

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method hasbeen adopted in the Computer Engineering course of theState University of Feira de Santana (UEFS). The problemsare the most important element of the PBL. Features of a"good problem" are: (1) motivation; (2) to request decisionsbased on information and logic/rationalization; (3)complexity; (4) the presentation of the content objectives.This work presents a problems analysis in a Concurrencyand Connectivity Integrated Study, composed by OperatingSystems and Computer Networks modules. A questionnairewas applied to 20 students and the results indicate: positiveto the motivation item; there was a variation with therationalization item; good results to the complexity item;there was positive point to the content objectives presenting.The general results indicate positive aspects to the problems,but some disabilities were noted.
