Abstract

The job market in the technological field isgoing through a promising period. There is a lack ofengineers’ world wide. Computer science students areemployed even before their graduation. In contrast, the fastchanges that happen in the production system are affectingthe stability of the jobs. Certain jobs and functions changeand some are even extinct. Products and services becomeobsolete quickly. The consumer market demands fasttechnological solutions. A precise adjust in the “time tomarket” is essential to ensure the competitiveness of thecompanies. Enterprises appear and disappear in no time.And in this sense, the professionals need to be flexible andable to work in many different functions. Technicalqualification is not enough. Other skills and abilities arerequired in order to keep themselves alive in the job marketas well as to manage their personal lives. How to maintainemployability in this scenario?
