A survey of science literacy level for senior high school students in Taiwan Taichung Girl’s High School Director of Department of Teaching Affairs

Abstract


The study aims to discuss the scientific literacylevel and the difference of senior high school student inTaiwan, and to provide to teachers, schools and the chief ofeducation administrative organizations for curriculumdeveloping, planning and assessment. The methods of thestudy are citation analysis, panel discussion. We use paneldiscussion to ensure expert validity measured by the Likert7-point scale, Two hundred questionnaires were delivered,and 196 questionnaires were recollected, and the validrecovering rate is 98%.After that we will pretest these scales,use item analysis to analyze the data that we’ve got, and doreliability test of these scales. The data that we’ve retrieveduse Cronbach α coefficient to do reliability test. This paperis our research of plan of earlier report; we hope to discussthe scale of science literacy of high school student in Taiwanby researching the process.
