COMUNICACIÓN AMBIENTAL MEDIANTE LA IMAGEN: BREVE APROXIMACIÓN A LA CRÃTICA MEDIOAMBIENTAL DESDE LAS ARTES VISUALES

Abstract

At present, sensitivity to global change has come to the arts and many artists have incorporated this way of thinking to their visual language and discourses. Environmental problems have an important social significance, and it is necessary that not only goverments of scientist give their point of view. That is why artists have been able to create works that illustrate these problems. They complaint and act as critical voices against certain economical practices and their global consequences.With this contribution we intend to show the contrast between the visual message issued by official authorities and the critical view by certain artists.
