RECOMENDAÇÕES PARA O DESIGN DE INTERFACES WEB ACESSÃVEIS AO PÚBLICO SURDO

Abstract


Several authors identified in their studies needsand latent issues related to language aspects, visuality,usability and navigation in web interfaces dedicated to thedeaf public. Therefore, as a way to decrease this gap, thisstudy has the objective of showing recommendations foraccessible web design interfaces to the deaf public. By abibliographic and exploratory research, using the technic ofliterature systematic revision, it was obtained as a result acompilation of recommendations for the development of webinterfaces that include, in a systematic board, generalorientations, text formatting, navigation, page layout,programming language and video features in sign language.The recommendations bring benefits to the deaf communityas well to the webdesigners that currently don’t haveavailable in a synthesized form practical orientationsdedicated to interfaces design to this public.
