WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF PEDAGOGICAL TRAINING FOR PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS

Abstract

The article focuses on the important role ofpedagogical training as a compulsory part of preparationin a teacher´s profession for prospective teachers. Themain task of pedagogical training is to acquire basiceducational qualifications for the job. Many students ofpedagogical universities have good theoretical knowledge,but they do not have a real experience with schoolenvironment. The pedagogical training is a new source ofreal knowledge and experience. Prospective teachers havethe opportunity to test acquired theoretical knowledge frompedagogy, didactics, psychology, biology in trainingschools. They obtain practice under the professionalguidance of a supervisor teacher, directly involved into thelearning process; they analyze and assess their teachingexperience. We can truly say that the pedagogical trainingmakes selection between those who have no relation toteacher´s profession and those who have strong feelings forteaching.
