INFORMATION LITERACY OF TEACHERS AS AN INDISPENSABLE TOOL WHEN WORKING WITH MODERN TEACHING TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

This society is overload of information.Explosion of technology and rapid social changes, weacquired skills for a future life. New e-skills form the basisfor survival. Accelerated world of information andtechnology may bring the need for change in teaching. ICToffers a wide range of applications in educational practice,so the teacher can expand their base and methodologicaltools developed by modern students of competence,increases their motivation. Teachers were asked to answeron the question of integrating the information literacy intoschool activities. This question, we tried to identify orinformation literacy is integrated into the curriculum. Theresults of study show that teachers understood informationliteracy to be important for learning.
