Criação de estruturas geométricas tridimensionais através da técnica do origami arquitetônico

Abstract

This article presents an experience with Design undergraduate students developing geometric 3D structures through origamic architecture design techniques. During the first stage of the experience, some potentialities of this art in paper were presented to the students through some examples of graphic design applications. Afterwards, some basic models were explored by the students in order to improve the knowledge about the exploration possibilities of origamic architecture, its physical limitations and its technical language. Finally, the students designed their own paper structures applying what they learn in graphic design products.
