O caos nosso de cada dia: a poética visual no cinema de Sergio Bianchi

Nelson Silva Junior, Sandra Fischer

Abstract

The research aims to study and analyze the design and construction of the visual poetics in Sergio Bianchi’s cinema. Making use of a peculiar ‘cinematic language’ specifically developed to focus several angles of Brazilian contemporary society, Bianchi holds a set of provocative and controversial films, structured around a narrative which deals, in particular, with the social criticism of a chaotic, degraded and decadent world, peopled by characters trapped in claustrophobic daily routines.
