Gravura pós-dígito: o avanço tecnológico

Abstract

The argument ENGRAVING POST-DIGIT intends to refer to the production and dissemination of artistic images - fixed and serially - that both are talking [historical image tic and methodologically] with the techniques of engraving and, concomitantly, with new procedures and technology generation and multiplication of images. From the tradition of handmade, through themechanical process and mechanical photo, until nowadays we get to the computerized procedures (digital printers). Several experiments had changed the relationship with graphic reproduction - knowing that the Mechanical Arts (the ones that interest us are the imaging machines fixed on the support is usually paper) acting at the intersection between consciousness and practice of the language - in expanded fields of contemporary visually.
