Abstract


Was created in 2005 by the Ministry ofEducation (MEC) system Open University of Brazil (UAB), apublic policy of access, internalization and democratizationof higher education. It is a program offered in the distance,which is impacting on the educational system with theemergence of open and virtual universities. This scenariopresents many challenges for change - decentralization ofmanagement, new actors, new roles, the adoption oftechnologically mediated teaching and learning. In thiscontext of transformation raises a question - what model ofOpen University established in the country? Thus, this studyaims to lift the state of the art to define the Open Universitymodel adopted in Brazil. This theoretical review is justifiedby being part of a research that aims to identify the culturallogic of organizational practices manifested in the UABsystem at the University of Brasilia.Index Terms  ⎯ Evaluation Pole Support Presencial;Satisfaction of the Student; University Open of Brazil.
