Abstract


It is relevant both for entrepreneurs and foracademics to evaluate the performance ofinterorganizational networks, once their organizationalframework have not only distinguishing characteristics andrequire specific tools, but also particular managementmethodologies to reach competitiveness and productivity.Assessing the value added realistically, more than justmeasuring results, is a key factor when attempting to evolvesynergistically, once sharing is a core characteristic ofinterorganizational networks. The productive organizationsembodied in this environment depend upon cohesion,commitment, partnerships and alliances among actors.Developing visibility criteria in the process involvingbusiness among the actors can either create networkvisibility or empower the productive organizations managersin the decision making regarding effectiveness and efficiencyin this new organizational paradigm; the organizationalarchitecture inserted in the networks.Index Terms ⎯ Concurrent Networks, Effectiveness,Efficiency, Planning and Production Control,Interorganizational networks.
