Abstract


This project seeks to develop a multidiciplinartechnological platform to research in dairy cattle,integrating science computing and veterinary medicine inmilk production. Using artificial neural network agregatedto georeferencing system and solid research in ethology(science which studies animal behavior). This work isjustified by it's economical relevance on milk production inBrazil, and by the possibility to generate diagnosis on dairycatle upon current management conditions, trought aethologic study, with computing systems that uses RFID andGPS technology to obtain data. Animal behaviour dependson its interactions on the environment, by using thegeoreferenced map it will be possible to detect changes likeheat or termic stress exposure, looking for diagnosepathologies more early, this way, improving the prognosisand animal welfare, which may increase milk productionand decrease the use of drugs, resulting in greater profitsand more quality to the milk.Index Terms ⎯  Artificial neural network, ethology,georeference.
