AVALIAÇÃO DOS INDICADORES DE DESENVOLVIMENTO DO SOLO EM ÁREAS EM RECUPERAÇÃO

Abstract

The “Santana do Poço” farm situated inJacareí/SP town, it has in its area a sector presenting pondsthose are consequences of the process of sand mining, thatoccurred in 1970 to 1990. The Vale Paraibana EducationFoundation (sponsor of the University of Vale Paraiba) haspossessed this farm and assumed the legal obligations leftby this ventures, It has established the Project for Recoveryof Degraded Areas predict by law in the Federal decree97.632 and State Resolution SMA 18/89. The soil´sindicators development are essential, because the soilinterferes directly in the development of vegetation. Theenvironment study is an area where reforestations began in2004 with the analysis of soil micronutrients initiated in2006. The aim of this study is to evaluate the indicatorsperformance observing the related factors in order topropose the best management for the area.Key words: Indicators, development, soil.
