Abstract


Isoflavones present in soybeans belong to thefamily of polyphenols,, a large class of substancessynthesizzed by plants.. In addition to antioxidant activity,,common to the polyphenols,, isoflavones by its structuralsimilarity to human estrogen,, determine major estrogenicef ects and are therefore referred to as phytoestrogens..The purpose of thisshowthe adverse ef ects of isoflavoneson human reproduction due to excessive consumption ofsoy.. The research will use Wistarrats(biologicalreagentsof choice) and food prepared with soy,, given to them.. Wehope the results show a correlation between theconsumption ofsoy--based food and animal infertility..
