PROCESSOS DE OXIDAÇÃO AVANÇADOS – UV/H2O2: ESTUDO DO REUSO DE EFLUENTES TÊXTEIS GERADOS POR TINGIMENTOS DE ALGODÃO EFETUADOS COM CORANTES PRETOS

Abstract

This work aimed to study textile waste reuse of
sulphur, direct and two types of reactive dyes. All dyeing
were made under manufacturers instructions, the
wastewater were diluted in a proportion of 1:9 and
subjected to UV-C radiation, catalyzed by 0.035 mol/L of
H2O2, at 296 K for 120 min. The conversion of
photodecomposition was α = 0.09 for sulphur dye, α = 0.52
for direct dye, α = 0.98 to reactive dye A and α= 0.99 for
reactive dye B. The wastewater obtained were used for white
cotton dyeing and compared with a dyeing with normal
water. The comparison was made by UV/VIS
spectrophotometry, CIELab System and the result was: DL
Normal Water (default) = 0.0; DL Direct = - 0.28; DL
Reactive A = -0.27 and DL Reactive B = 0.10. It shows that
the reuse of treated wastewater from dyeing with reactive B
is the most appropriate.
