DIMENSIONAMENTO DE ÁREAS DE ATENDIMENTO DO PROGRAMA DE SAÚDE DA FAMÍLIA (PSF) ATRAVÉS DE TÉCNICAS DE GEOPROCESSAMENTO

Abstract

The deployment of the Brazilian Unified Health
System – SUS, has generated new challenges in order to the
decentralization of government health actions in Brazil. To
the Family Health Program, there is need to define service
areas according the number of families and care teams.
Performing clusters considering some criteria became a
complex task that can be solved with aid of geoprocessing
techniques. This work aim purpose a technique of clustering
area by predefined criteria. The application allows insert
start criteria such as number of families and number of
teams, as well as vector data of census tracts. The perform
generate identifiers of cluster to put on in choropleth maps.
Tests developed with real data has shown satisfied results
attending the establish criteria. It is intended to create a
plug-in to the Terraview software and make this solution
available for healthcare stakeholders.
