PROJOGOS: UMA FERRAMENTA PARA O COMPARTILHAMENTO DE JOGOS LÓGICO-MATEMÁTICOS PARA O ENSINO DE ALGORITMOS E LÓGICA DE PROGRAMAÇÃO
Abstract
The use of abstract theoretical frameworks and as long as discouraging exercises is one the characteristic of the disciplines related to the teaching of algorithms and programming logic, curriculum components required in undergraduate courses in Computer Science and related areas. However, such exercises are a cause of great annoyance among the students, causing disinterest, dropouts, failures and evasion. These consequences are intrinsically linked to how those contents are worked in the classroom, given their low motivation. Based on this framework, this paper aims to understand and propose the teaching of algorithms and programming logic by the development of educational games, exploring in this way, the playfulness and hence the construction of knowledge. The proposal includes the use of constructivist theories of knowledge construction by a portal that serves as the repository of the developed games with the idea of sharing this material between involved teachers and students.
