AVALIAÇÃO DE DESEMPENHO DOCENTE NA GESTÃO DO CONHECIMENTO
Abstract
Knowledge is one of the intangible assets ofhigh value and for the management of modernorganizations. Appropriate management can direct itsefforts and organizational resources with more intelligentand proactive actions, promoting conditions that increasethe competitiveness due to the difference in theorganization‘s competitive strategies. In the segment ofhigher education of engineering, the promotion ofintellectual capital and the need of knowledge managementhas greater intensity and importance. This article aims tostudy how knowledge is generated and developed in theevaluation of teacher performance. The researchmethodology adopts a qualitative approach, with actionresearch applied to a university in São Paulo, with technicalliterature, documentation and use of interview. The resultsshows that knowledge is a strategic resource helps to defineand maintain a profile of skills for the institution studied.Index Terms ⎯ Teacher perfomance, university, knowledgemanagement, engineering.
